Commissioned public art mural as seen on the BBC 2014 titled ‘Awakening’ the piece was intended to kick start a larger series of public art commissions in the Bournemouth area. The public arts project was commissioned to counteract the negative press of the local area and to instill positivity through art  to a deprived community. At the site of the mural a fatal shooting had taken place a year before, the mural is dedicated to the victim and his family. The mural is also dedicated to Stanley Kubrick whose work had inspired my initial design.
